The steps

  1. 1Get a certified copy of the sealing or expungement order from your attorney.
  2. 2Search your name with the case number and the court.
  3. 3List every site: legal data sites, background check sites, news.
  4. 4Send each site the order and ask it to remove or update the page.
  5. 5Once a page changes, ask Google to refresh it.
  6. 6For pages that won't change, ask your attorney about a legal removal request to Google.
